But due to unforseen circumstances we decided it was more feasable to use someone a little close to home. ***Annual Grass Radar Run & Water Cross*** 8/12/12 - Denise
Well, it's that time of year again. On Sunday August 12, 2012 we are having our annual Grass Radar Run & Water Cross at the Daniels' Farm just outside of Honesdale. The address for the event is 78 Daniels Rd Honesdale Pa 18431. Registration is from 9am-11am with the grass runs right after. Water crosses made whenever the mood strikes throughout the day. The event concludes @ 3pm. Cost is $20.00 per sled (unlimited runs). Spectators are free. Trophies will be awarded. Concessions avail, 50/50 & our annual Sled Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Helmets are required for both activities and a life jacket is also manditory for the water cross. Event is rain, shine or snow! Hope to see you there!

***Work Day*** @ the old Agway building in Herrick Center on the B trail on Rte. 371. Bring picks, shovels, rakes, chainsaws. We will be doing general cleanup around the bldg, sealing the roof, installing lighting in & out, building stairs inside, etc. Be there 7:30-8:00am

The Lackawanna Heritage Valley Assn. recently acquired the railbed in the Simpson area. This will potentially be an addition to our current trail system. They are having a work day this Saturday to get debris cleaned up on 1.5 miles of the trail up to the 1st bridge. Anyone interested in helping out may show up on the railbed by the tank in Simpson off Rte. 171. You may bring a 4 wheeler & trailer to assist. Folks, please be aware that we had to change the March General Membership meeting 3/5/12 location to the Lakewood Lodge @ 7:30pm. We apologize for the last minute notice, however we discovered late the the previous location was unavailable and we needed to make sure it was ok with Leroy for the Logde. See you there!
